WORKSHOPS
Fashion X AI: 2022-2023 International Salon welcomes the public to gain first hand experience with the unique design and AI solutions developed by the Laboratory for Artificial Intelligence in Design (AiDLab) between March - May 2023. Using a design-led approach, all participants will be able to experience advanced technologies and gain an understanding of how they can be applied in real world contexts.
Upon completion of the workshop, participants will be issued an electronic certificate of participation. Each 3-hour workshop has a limited capacity of 30. Registration is free, on a first come first served basis.

01. AI and Textiles for Fashion and Lifestyle
This practice-based workshop introduces participants to the craftsmanship and technology for intelligent textiles. With demonstrations on developing textiles and integrating components to create interactivity and explorations on the application of intelligent textiles for fashion and lifestyle products. All relevant materials will be provided.

02. AI and Fashion Design
With the advancement of AI technology in recent years, using AI for creativity is an emerging topic. Join this workshop to experience how designers can easily and closely work with AI in the fashion design and development process.

03. AI and Ergonomics
This practice-based workshop introduces participants to ergonomic design of footwear insole incorporated with AI technology. With demonstrations on taking foot shapes and/or footprints, they can better understand their foot conditions. On the basis of the AI insole model, they can custom-design and fabricate their own insoles for daily activities. All relevant materials will be provided.
